You have to view the post like an end user would…there should be an Add Photo link above the gallery.

just cant seem to add images to my gallery…

where exactly is the

‘go to the post or page and click Add Photos link.’

Hi Michael,

Make sure you have set to “Anybody” in:

Gallery Settings / select the gallery you want to set and click Edit.

The PhotoSmash Settings is the default for any new galleries, so if you set that after the gallery in question was created, that gallery would probably be set to Admin.

trying to set up a photo-contest site.

I have all plug-ins off other than photosmash.

Have followed instructions, I think, to a ‘t’.

Gallery is showing up, but for the life of me I can’t get the most important item to show:

Add Photo

I’ve set the level to Anybody.

Don’t know what else to do?

Hopefully there is still moderation on this particular thread.

You’ll need to install either the Lightbox or Shadowbox plugins. It should work after that.

i got my gallery integrated, but when i click on them it goes to source image. it will not open into a flash thingy animated gallery.

please help!

The rectangle is a blank gallery. I need a better placeholder, I know, but hopefully galleries don’t stay blank too long.

One more thing to add – when I VIEW the page, the link is there. I just have this funny rectangle – it may not have anything to do with photosmash at all, but I cannot get rid of it.

Hi SF311,

Couple of questions…are you trying to upload while logged in as an Admin? If so, the link should be there for sure.

If you can, please either post a link here or send to me by email so I can see what’s going on: byron at whypad . com.

Also, please use the Forum if you don’t mind I find it easier (maybe) to keep track of everything.
