That was the problem, thanks! Had to use manually create the folders and set to 777. Very nice plugin!

No problems with 2.8.3. If you’re having upload problems, it’s likely either a folder permissions issue or a database problem.
Take a look at Plugin Info page in PhotoSmash admin. Does it report any problems with the folders or can you tell if SAFE MODE is on?

Any idea when Photosmash will work with 2.8.3? My photo uploads file in any scenario. I get “Image processing failed” after many different file types and sizes, from within a gallery or a post. Auto-add, not auto-add. Any suggestions?
