  1. This plugin is really awesome! But, I'm wondering if it's possible to use the Photosmash upload form, without using the Photosmash gallery?

Basically I want to use the gallery feature that's built into Wordpress, instead of the Photosmash gallery. I want the images to all link to their own page (with comments).

I created a test post where I inserted the WP gallery shortcode and the Photosmash shortcode. It works, in that the uploaded image shows up in the WP gallery, but the post also displays the Photosmash gallery (the post now has 2 galleries). Is there a way to omit or hide the Photosmash gallery?

    Thanks!

  2. I found the answer...

Thanks again for the great plugin!

  3. Great! Glad you're like PhotoSmash.

  4. The solution I used from the other post was to use the shortcode [photosmash no_gallery=true form=std], but I'm wondering if there is a way to use the standard shortcode, [photosmash], and set the gallery type to "Wordpress Gallery" on a global level?

Basically, is there a way to have Photosmash always use the Wordpress Gallery without having to change each gallery manually? And, can this apply to Contributor Galleries as well?

    Thanks!

  5. Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, no. There isn't a way to default gallery type to WordPress Gallery

The Contributor gallery cannot be set to WordPress Gallery gallery type primarily because the WP Gallery is linked to the images that are Attachments to a specific post. If there's a way to make them show the images by a single author, I'm not familiar with it.
