  1. First of all, love the plugin. You don't know how long (at least a year and a half) I've looked for a Plugin that does exactly this.

One question though, and hopefully it's just something missing the setting for--

I have three or four Authors / Contributors etc for some of my sites, yet I'm the only Administrator. As far as I can tell, only the Administrator role has the capability of moderating images to Approved. Is this the case, or is there a way I could give an Author or Contributor I trust this capability as well?

  2. Unfortunately, only Admins can moderate. I've locked it down pretty tight, but there has been some interest in having Authors be able to do this. But it would be a good bit of work to unwind it all at this point, so it's sort of on the list, but not near the top.

  3. Thanks for the reply--here's a thought: there's a plugin I use called "Role Manager" which allows you to dive deep down into the capabilities of each of the Wordpress roles--for example, I wanted certain lower permission roles to be able to use unfiltered html, and it allows that. I'm not sure of the technical side, but perhaps that might be a way of doing it without opening up the floodgates? Just an FYI if you didn't know about this plugin. I've posted a screenshot of what type of stuff you can change with it:

  4. Thanks for the Role Manager tip...Another plugin you might check out is Members by Justin Tadlock. I seem to recall that Role Manager hadn't been updated in a long time (at least when I checked a year ago). Justin's plugin is relatively new and he does good work.

Not sure if WP 3.0 will have anything more in the way of Roles, but it might.
