  1. Hi

Great plug, one thing, is it possible to change the default WP upload directory?

Basically I don't want users or anyone/thing to see the WP upload folder structure.

Im not worried about other people uploading images, I just want to store the images in a non platform specific folder, ie blablabla.com/images/uploads rather than blablabla.com//wp-content/uploads/2010/09/.

When I upload from within wordpress, either browser or flash, it only give you "from computer" tab and not from URL, when upload the photo. After the 1st image has been uploaded it then lets you select "from url" but then still uploads it to the wordpress default folders

Basically does anyone know if its possible?

    Many thanks

    Matt

  2. Hi Matt,

PhotoSmash uses the standard WordPress functions to upload images (the actual WordPress code). So, that's why the images go to the same place your other WP image uploads go. So, unfortunately, there really isn't a way to send the PhotoSmash images to a different directory. You can control which directory all of you uploads go, by going into the Settings > Media and look for: Store uploads in this folder

The other problem is that when you display an image on your web page, the user will be able to see what the image path is in their browser.

    Sorry.
