   Hi,

   Only started playing around with WordPress over the last week, so still finding my feet. PotoSmash is proving very easy to use, with great results.

   Still trying to decide exactly how I'm going to lay out some photos, but it looks like I'm going to have a number of galleries on a single page.

   If I do this, it is only possible to enter comments at the page level. Is there a way for people to comment on each individual gallery, or (even better) on each photo?

   Hi Spencer,

   Glad you're trying out WP and PhotoSmash...WP is simply fantastic. PhotoSmash needs polish, but it's quite powerful, if I do say so myself.

   The best way to do this right now would be to use a Custom Layout and provide a link to the WP Attachment Page for each image. You can place you link any way you want...check out what I do with links to Posts in StLouie.com. There, I float the link as an image over the thumbnails...click on the thumbnail, you get the full size image, click on the post link and you go to the post. There is a tag in Layout Editor for the link to the attachment page: [wp_attachment_link]
   Most of the tags are listed along the right hand side, including your custom fields, if any exist.

   The WP attachment pages allow you to comment on individual images there.

   I'm not quite sure what you mean at the moment(!), but will certainly be investigating it over the next few days.
