I can't quite figure this out, or find it explained anywhere, what code needs to exist to be able to use the overlayed thumbs up/thumbs down rating system in a custom layout? The standard view that uses this isn't editable as a layout, so I can't just refer to the source and reverse engineering doesn't seem to be working.

If anyone can give me any help, it'd be appreciated.
