  1. Can you tell me how to:

    *take out the little 'post' icon in the upper right hand corner of my thumbnails?
    *set up the gallery so that contributors have to be registered with wordpress to upload their photos?
    *put in captions for a gallery that is already uploaded?
    *make the thumbnails bigger (and high res) for an existing gallery?

    Any help is much appreciated!

  2. Hi MV,

    1) You'll need to edit the Custom layout...just remove this code from it:

    <div class='bwbps_postlink_top_rt bwbps_postlink'>
    			<a href='[post_url]' title='Visit image page.'>
    				<img src='[plugin_url]/photosmash-galleries/images/post-out.png' />
    			</a>
    		</div>

    Here's the tutorial on editing Custom Layouts: http://smashly.net/photosmash-galleries/how-to/create-custom-layouts/

    2) To make it so that only Contributors can upload, here's a video that shows how to make it so Anyone can upload...just select the appropriate role in the dropdown. The video should get you started: http://smashly.net/photosmash-galleries/tutorials/getting-started-with-photosmash/

    3) If you're wanting to add Captions to images that are already upload, you can do that in Photo Manager...just edit the gallery that contains the images. Add the caption and save

    4) You can change the size of the thumbnails in Gallery Settings and then Resize the images...here's a video showing how: http://smashly.net/photosmash-galleries/tutorials/sizing-and-resizing-images/

    HOpe that helps,
    Byron
